Backup & Disaster Recovery
Protect every layer of your business — servers, computers, Microsoft 365 and cloud apps — with reliable, regularly tested backups and a clear recovery plan.
Data loss and downtime are costly, and they can happen in many ways: hardware failure, accidental deletion, ransomware, or an outage at a cloud provider. Saber Tech protects your business across every layer, with backups matched to each type of system and a recovery plan that’s ready when you need it.
Just as importantly, we regularly test those backups — because a backup you can’t restore from isn’t really a backup at all.
Server backups
Your servers hold the systems and data your business runs on, so they need robust protection. We back up your physical and virtual servers — including full system images where appropriate — so we can restore an individual file, a folder, or an entire server quickly after a failure. Backups are kept both on-site for fast recovery and off-site for protection against events like fire, theft or ransomware.
Microsoft 365 backups
It’s a common misconception that Microsoft fully backs up your 365 data. Microsoft operates a shared responsibility model with limited retention, and recovering from accidental deletion or a security incident can be difficult once that window passes. We provide dedicated, independent backups of your Microsoft 365 environment — including Exchange (email), OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams — so your data can be recovered well beyond the standard retention period.
Cloud-to-cloud backups
As more of your business runs in cloud applications, that data needs protecting too. Cloud-to-cloud backup copies your data from the cloud services you rely on into a separate, secure backup that’s independent of the original provider. If data is deleted, corrupted, or a provider has an issue, you have your own copy to restore from — you’re never relying on a single platform to protect its own data.
PC & workstation backups
Important files often live on staff computers, not just on servers. We protect your PCs and laptops so that a lost, stolen, failed or ransomware-affected device doesn’t mean lost work. Depending on your setup this can cover user data, documents and full system recovery — getting your people back up and running with minimal disruption.
Backup & recovery testing
A backup is only as good as your ability to restore from it. That’s why testing is built into how we manage backups — not left as an afterthought.
- We monitor every backup job and act on any that fail or report errors.
- We perform regular test restores to confirm data can actually be recovered, not just that a backup ran.
- We verify the integrity of backup data, so you’re never relying on a corrupt copy.
- We document recovery steps and expected recovery times, so everyone knows what to expect during an incident.
- We report back to you on backup health and testing, so you have confidence your data is protected.
The result: when something goes wrong, recovery is a process we’ve already rehearsed — not a gamble.
